This piece has some hsitory to it. Back in 2001 Smudge had gone into the hospital during Anthrocon and had to have an operation afterwards. Being that Smudge was uninsured we were faced with a potentially crushing financal debt that threatened not only BackBreaker Studios but are own personal financial situation. Without asking many people in fandom came forward and help us through this very difficult time. One of them was Tibo and Flinthoof who helped us make it to Conifur Northwest that year when we thought we'd have to cancel. Years later I was able to a color piece of this sketch to Tibo as a thank you payment and a leveling of the karmic scales.
