I've wondered the same thing, when you were going to continue the comic, but at least I listened to other people and respected your privacy. IMO, it's going to be better than ever. Plus it's during a fun time in history with lots of boats. :)

I share the sentiment of this strip. I constantly get PM's to finish my story on SoFurry and it really puts me off when people tell me they want it because they're so important. Major sympathies as an artist and a writer from me :)

Patience is a virtue. I know since I started doing artwork outwardly I have been promising my friends to do cross stitches for them. I've put them off and put them off and just now getting around to doing them..so yeah I know what you mean Fox about people bugging you. Sometimes an artist just has one of those art blocks or you just need a break and get away from what youre working on til you are hit over the head with inspiration hammer.

The only things that I do after payment is to tell the artist what I'm looking for (mostly a "surprise me" kind of submission). And after that, I stop right there and carry on with my business :)

I've also noticed that artists are more inspired to draw your piece if you're watching their stream. That's what happened when I was watching do her pony commissions. I signed on, watched her draw, and she decided to get right to my pic because I was there to give feedback! Unfortunately, the stream was not recorded, but it was on heck of a memory watching my commission unfold before my very eyes
