Er... I really am a bigger fan of the book it was BASED on (by Hudson Talbott).. and while the soundtrack is great, I don't listen to it all the time.

If I had to say I modeled my girls after an animated film, I couldn't, because it's equal parts "Land Before Time", and "We're Back" and old saturday morning cartoons with dinosaurs. Hell, Kitti originated as a Sabertoothed cat that lost a tooth, which I saw in a Dental commercial!

He looks cross. Probably doesn't enjoy the blood work resulting from a "first contact" scenario. Given the required needle diameter to get through his hide, yeah, that probably wouldn't be particularly comfortable. (From a realistic viewpoint, "We're Back!" would have resulted in a massive out-of-context problem for the United States. Biosafety Level Four and New York City getting quarantined should come to mind. This might be explored in Varus' backstory relating to Project Deep Freeze and the Reality Simulation Program...)
