Perfecly presented prawns from the kitchens of

Thanks to
cable777 for taking this freaking awesome picture of supper I made tonight! <3
After watching
faccc for the longest time, I'm finally submitting a recipe I cooked up. <3
Seared Sesame Shrimp
Ingredients -
2 Tbl Sesame Seeds
2 Tbl Sesame Oil
2 Tbl Rice Vinegar
3 Tbl Soy Sauce
20 Large Shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
5 Bamboo Skewers
Directions -
In a small skillet over medium heat, toast the sesame seeds until fragrant. In a shallow dish, combine the sesame seeds w/ the sesame oil, vinegar, and soy sauce. Thread 4 shrimp onto each skewer, piercing each at the head and tail, and place in the marinade. Turn to coat and leave on one side for 5 minutes, then turn to the other side for another 5 minutes.
Heat the skillet over medium high heat and sear the skewered shrimp for about 1 minute each side or just until outsides are crisp. Careful not to overcook, as it'll make the shrimp dry. Place the shrimp on a plate.
Pour the rest of the marinade into the hot skillet and heat for about 45 seconds. Pour the rest of the marinade over the shrimp.
Serve shrimp warm or at room temperature. <3
Garlic Green Beans -
Ingredients -
1 1/2 Cups Frozen Green Beans
1 Clove Garlic, minced
2 Tbl Butter
Garlic Salt, Salt, Pepper to taste.
Pour frozen green beans into a pot w/ 2 cups of boiling water. As soon as it comes back to a boil, bring heat down to medium low and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Drain water, add rest of ingredients until well mixed/melted and serve. <3
Now, with the green beans I don't really measure, I go by sight. So I pretty much just guessed at the amount of everything used. Adjust it according to your own taste. =D
