It's all to often in trying to teach or instruct a child, the lesson is taken in a way that causes more battles then it is worth. Each lesson of life at least needs to be tried before thrown to the side.

How many times did you fight your parents when they told you "believe me, I did that same thing when I was your age and it caused nothing but trouble"! Then you went ahead and did the same thing and encounter the same trouble.

For me... all too often!

Sorry for not responding sooner as lifes issues have been directing my path.

I would like to thank you for your comment. Sometimes a father is to busy to allow his children to benifit from his knowledge and yet there are all to many times when the child will not allow a fathers experiance to enter the mind. Other times the father is not there to aid in his childs development. As with you, this I know all to well. We all have lessons to teach each other whether child, parent, friend or enemy.
