Merry Christmas! - Giftart For Alex The Dachshund

Huzzah, my very first submission here in FA! I can't even begin to say how long it's been since I've done art of any sort - drawing, coloring, painting, whatever. But, I was suddenly smacked in the face by a muse, and I did this for my friend Alex as a sort of 'time to start working out some of the kinks'. Anyway, it's nothing super special, but I quite like how it came out. Also, I should mention that this is the first time I've ever really drawn a dog. No, I'm not kidding. I'm no great artist by any means, but I hope to be able to keep drawing and improve.
