'Detonated on landing' is a large part of the fun with Legos.
I used to make large, elaborate armored cars out of Legos, then push them down the stairs just to watch 'em blow up.
Of course, Derek Meddings corrupted me at an early age, what with his special effects work on "Thunderbirds" and "Captain Scarlet"...
