Imagine, if you will, that you're standing on the side of a mountain. The sounds and scents of nature surround you- a stream rushes nearby, birds rustle and chirp in the canopy above you, the air humid and temperate, the dirt beneath your feet moist and fresh. Beyond the jagged cliffs and dense forest lays a formidable sea, stretching farther than the eye can behold.

This world is not earthly. Although it may be physical, its substance exists in code; a seamless amalgamation of natural and artificial, a garden of technology, unspoilt by the elements of our world...until now.

This is Ithaca. Ithaca is at war.

This was the premise of an abstract, Tron/Matrix/Digimon (I'm not afraid to admit it)- inspired science fiction story I came up with early in high school. The idea has stayed with me since then, but unfortunately I haven't any desire to put it on paper. Instead, I've decided to take a more cinematic approach by developing an official soundtrack for it- I've always wanted to do a soundtrack, anyway. This way I can get the creative juices a-flowing without having to resort to writing bad pseudo-fanfiction. Please enjoy.
