This was a birthday gift for 
donovan, requested by 
dimby. It was a big secret conspiracy! Dimby told me what he wanted, and I had him sneak some photos of the apartment where Donovan lived, so that I could draw the scene in exactly the right setting. And when I was done, Dimby set the scene for Donovan, so that this exact moment happened for them, and then he gave him his gift.
I feel so privileged to have been chosen to create this piece for them, and so happy with how it turned out, both the picture and the birthday celebration setup.
