The family Cabin is on Spencer Mountain, in Colorado, near the town of Eldora. In the late 1890's a lodge was built at the top of the mountain on Lake Eldora, called the Lake Eldora Lodge. It catered to well to do folks from Boulder and Denver for many years before being abandoned. When my Mom was little someone accidentally burned the abandoned building down while camping in it, and the two fire places are all that remains.
