About the Actual Picture
I know it's a bit early, but I'm probably going to be busy for the rest of the year and won't have time to do another book-quality picture before the end of the year.
Each year, the AC book covers have had a theme character... well, this year I tried to do something different and do a cover that encompassed various myths of a specific culture... in this case, Aztec. The front and back covers have various critters and legends from Aztec lore.
The main character on the cover is a were-jaguar, a supernatural deity that has qualities of a Jaguar. She's perhaps a bit more anthropomophized then the actual legend, and I took some liberties with the clothes, but that's what she is.
