Waltz is a strange and aloof child (He’s 17). Anyone who has had any contact with Waltz generally brush him off when Joly isn't around. Waltz knows this, so he tries to keep the time they're apart to a minimum. Waltz has a very demanding and spoiled attitude that would drive most people crazy. He thinks he is more important than anyone, if he asks a question it better be answered in the next second...or else. Waltz is also rich, and likes to throw his money around when it's in his favor. This makes for an interesting relationship between him and Joly, since Joly does like to gamble. As far as Xhimenes goes, he sees the inspector as weak because of his faith. Marcello drifts in and out of being his enemy and friend. His relationship with Joltaivi is also up to interpretation, then again, Joly can't manage to carry on a "normal" relationship with anyone he knows well. Waltz is also incredibly smart, because he is usually reading anything educational during his free time. He's practically a human calculator and grammar book. He will correct anyone if he thinks he or she isn't speaking correctly, and he's not nice about it. Probably because he's cranky from not getting enough sleep (he gets 3-4 hours of sleep a night). He's book smart, but he can still be naive. His people skills are awful, I mean, this kid is just awful. Anyone I've roleplayed with can vouch for me, lol. Waltz's voice doesn't help anything either, when he talks he has a very heavy accent, he sounds like he's trying to speak a flowing language, such as French. He has a very grating tone.
He's arguably one of the two main characters of my novel, the other being Marcello. It focuses on Waltz for the first part, picks up with Marcello, then starts to alternate between the two characters. People ask me what the novel is about, and it's hard to explain because I created a new species that heavily impacts the story. The species itself needs to be described before the actual story...so I'm at a blank at describing the actual novel, lol. In essence it's about the fine line between servants and slaves, then saviors and monsters.
Random Fact: Valse means 'Waltz' in French, so repetitive name is repetitive. Waltz is also a German word.
This is my problem child. As soon as I opened his file, my art program glitched up and hasn't worked right since. Now I have to use the trial version of the newest version. Hopefully that can last me until I get back to school. But still, what are the chances. Seriously.
I had another artist help me design him awhile back, which resulted in this: [link] (it was more me tossing in colors, and facial markings, she did the rest, lol Awesome artist, btw, I'd recommend her!) I poked at the fox design after months and months. His human design hasn't changed at all.
Ugggggh, wall of text. Will get to other adoptables later.

I'll admit I was going "DAWWWW" when I drew this XD Every time I draw him, he comes out deceptively cute. Thank you for the compliment as always!
Also, I read your journal today, and you're an awesome artist! It's up to you if you want to put some work into scraps, but you're in no way bad! So, please don't feel that way (pssssst, I envy your anthro/human skills!)

He is a cute one! You're welcome.
Oh yeah, I know! Thank you very much, I just wanted to organize my artwork and show off my favorite pieces and get a 'fresh' start. I don't have a problem with my drawings, just my Galleries organization... it's weird. I'm just very OCD when it comes to my art work and I like to keep things looking clean on my page and not too mixed up. If that makes any sense... I know I am confusing and weird, sorry. ;w;

No, that actually very understandable, this site doesn't have folders to put your work in (which makes it weird for me to look through people's galleries). I feel my gallery is unorganized, because I like to put the ref sheets together so I don't have to go search through my gallery on here when I commission someone. It hasn't made me want to leave, it's a minor problem I have here.
Totes, I need organization with my art FA, YOU HEAR ME?! ORGANIZATION.
Which is odd because I'm totally not a organized person in real life. Like,
there's papers and clothes everyyyywhereeee. xD
I guess I only care to take care of my digital artwork, how sad.
But typical for an Artist.

I try not to get too unorganized, but my room is suffering lol
My sketchbook has papers sticking out of it, but it's pretty much in the same place. Digital art is easier to organize, because it's easier for me to just make a folder on the computer and stick it there.

Thank you! I love sketching expressions for my ref sheets! Annnd, I randomly look up animals that spark my interest, or a job I'm interested in. I also watch a lot of cartoons and sitcoms. I don't know if live action sitcoms can influence an art style, but they do help with creating characters c:
