Some of you may have already seen my take on the "Peanuts" gang by Charles M. Schulz. Some new ones are on the way. Until then, I hope you still like these old ones.
There have been differences of opinion on how Charlie would act now. I decided to go the way of the "angst-filled teenager."
Linus is much more secure...but still clutches a little to the past. His blanket was sized down to a hankerchief. :)
I don't think Lucy would change much. Still bold and assertive. Maybe less crabby. Keeping the boys at bay but still can't get a second look from Schroeder.

somehow i dont think this would take off in the sunday papper but it would be cool to see this as a local comic ^^ maybe change the character names and give subtal hints ocasionaly as to who they really are. =P you get a profile stalk hehe
I echo Ryokukitsune's suggestion of changing the character names. All the character names of Peanuts are probably covered under copyright or trademark .. and it would be nice if you could make money off this concept.

Tsk; this series has always been a favorite of mine... I NEVER would have thought to reinvent classic characters in such a way. Excellent work.

awww man, I LOVED these since i first saw them, must get prints one day!
I just think this series revival is insanely well thought out, and I dont think anyone else would consider reviving old comics like this. Well done!
Very cool and clever. I guess if you made them chibi, they'll just look like their comic stip counter-parts.

I like the handkerchief for Linus (it is a very useful invention).

I think your right about charlie.I think your right about linus and lucy to.But i think charlie brown would keep a lot of stuff inside.But i think he would argo with lucy from time ti time.And even tell her where she can put some of her opinons.You,ve pretty much got them down to a t.I go as far to say Mr Shutz would like it.

I'm reminded of an old issue of MAD magazine that parodied the Peanuts gang as adults. It was quite amusing, though it didn't look as slick as this piece here.

Now these are some characters I loved. I like the new design work you have for each one, speciffically Linus and his little blue planket hanging out of his back pocket XD. I can't help but think of him as being like Leo Bloom from Mel Brooks remake of the Producers XD. Though he does have a bad ass character look, I can imagine he would be like Leo Bloom if someone took away his blue blanket.
Now Lucy looks the same as she always. I bet she still pulls the football away from Charlie Brown as he tries to kick it. You think that boy would learn after all those years.
