So he needs a compatible connection? Interesting. Oh! I just had an idea for a body for him. Four spider-like legs attached directly to his collar, in addition to some kind of adapter that would let him interface with nerve endings. So if he finds any headless people, he could just hop on top of their necks and borrow their body, like some kind of B-movie alien invader! What do you think?

Well the simplistic body is already there; both Mitya and Ronen use it from time to time. I dunno about the connection to nerves though; I'm trying to keep my pseudoscience consistent at least xD

There wouldn't necessarily be any inconsistency. The neural adapter (As it shall be henceforth known.) could just be a specialized device. He would have to decide whether to have his own body, or use the neural adapter to borrow someone else's, since it would plug into the connectors he normally used to interface with his own body. Sure in this case it would make more sense to have his artificial bodies also be able to use the neural adapter, but it would hardly be the first time people have included a poor design feature for no readily apparent reason.

I see where you're going with this, and I like it! But what do you mean letting his bodies use the neural adapter too? I'd imagine it's needlessly expensive and complicated to make something sufficiently close to a human (or whatever) neck to bother with it.

I meant, so his neural adapter could allow him to control his normal bodies as well. I imagine that it can't interface with the normal connections at all, so it would make sense if they had them, so he wouldn't have to choose. But then there wouldn't be any reason to have the normal connectors in the first place, and then we're back to the problem of back-story inconsistency, so it wouldn't really make any sense at all to have them. That would be the Doyalist explanation. But you've just given the Watsonian explanation! It would be too complex to build a robotic neck that the neural adapter can use, because it was designed specifically for use in conjuntion with organic necks.

I'm... not sure even I understood what I just said, so let's move on to the important question here. Does your approval mean he gets to have the neural adapter? (Please say yes, please say yes, pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease, PLEEEAASSE?)
