Mercifully some of my money has gone through to my bank, and I managed to pick up a pack of smokes today to get more commission work done. Not much, but at least it'll keep me from being totally disabled till I can get more, like I was worried I'd be. whew. -_-;
Anyway, commish for prowler7. To anyone who might end up doing a commission for this guy in the future, I wanted to let you know that he is an awesome guy to do art for. He's really patient and agreeable and gave me loads of artistic freedom regarding how to draw him.
Also, I love drawing rats. Put some extra detail into this one (sorta in between my $15 and $20 styles) both because rat tails are just really fun to texture, and cos this guy donated extra money to me while still waiting for me to finish this. You rock, man.

The textures and shading are really amazing. I love how his eyes came out and it definitely looks like you had fun with the tail.
You perfectly captured the posture and expression I was hoping for, both in how he's holding his tail and the way he's looking up with that pleading gaze. Just a marvelous job all around.

Hee, I gotta admit I have a tendency to draw tummy on everything, especially when the species gives me an excuse. XD I was happy that the commissioner didn't have any preference for the body type I drew, so that I could give Rodent a real ratty-type body. Glad you like!
