One the left is a single-panel comic I did in 2007, and on the right you can see the version I drew today (2011).
I'd really appreciate any critiques on things I did/didn't do better in the newer version.
thanks a heap.

I like the newer style better. the shading really helps. You did better on him too. Being taller is better. He looks more masculine all the way around which makes the joke better. Cows tail over the wall is a nice touch...looks more realistic to me. (though I've never been in a milking shed) The only thing better about the first one was I liked the patterns on the aprons more for their femininity, worked better for the joke in my opinion.
How've ya been anyway? It's been AGES!!!

Thanks ^^ It can be a bit hard for me to see the good and bad in my own art, so outside opinions really help ^^
I'm doing pretty good thanks! Not much happening due to it being christmas time, so i've not been able to get any work in really. Though I've been trying to rest and relax a bit more.
What about you? you doing okay?

Pretty much everything looks better X3
The cows back are more detailed, the apron and boots have a lot more shape and detail. The head and neck look a lot more natural as well, the shape of the head is also a lot smoother and detailed giving a much better perspective of the character.
Also credit for the improved switches, much more consistent and detailed ^^

It was a card game about 10 years ago. Amazing art style led up by these artists: http://www.ghostcircles.com/
