Who is Tama? Is she an official character?

She's a semi canon character. She was created by the creators of Lion King but never made it into the movies but she is in the lion king comic books :]

"Find someone. I know you can. I'll stay here, distract Scar so that he doesn't realize you're gone. You have to get away. You have to find help."

It was there that I almost expected Nala to say something along the lines of "Oh great, so now I'm Obi-Wan kenobi! *Eye roll* You've been smokin' some bad catnip!"

Maybe I'm just so much of a Star Wars fan that I was the only one who heard that in their head. Meh.
