Just a little doodle of my parents: Kamboja 'Kami' Gesangputri and Alexander Michael Hext. 1970 @ UC Santa Barbara. She's an Indonesian on a student visa, he's an archaeologist's apprentice studying abroad with his mentor. And it was love at first sight for him. Once he took a moment to scoop her and her Hemingway off the sidewalk. Smooth one, Dad.

Why did I mention my old man as Hext? That's his actual birth last name. After a "little" falling out with Grandpa Mike, my Dad took his mother's maiden name before he and Mom got married.

Kind of hard to tell, but there's a major size difference. Mom's 5' 3" including the ears, and Dad's just over 7' if you include the horns. And folks always wondered how I ended up right in the middle. :3
