Oh, well. The posture and the odd looking shoulder joint are fixed now. So I think it got better than the scrap... :)
Here is the minotaur concept I had for my Thauma (i.e. Thaumaturgic Wars) project. The pic is not exactly what I had in mind when I began to draw, but I am quite happy of Brontes' expression of sadness after all.
Everything is burning to the root. Wars are what they are: cruel...

Wonderful stuff, great proportion head/body, lovely muscle work, lovely fur work. This is fantastic work, the way the head joins the body with the heavy sweep of the back of the neck, oooh. Do you give lessons in how you did that fur effect? ;)
Instant Fav and a watch, and snugs from Damoclien.

Sadly, I can't give lessons, because there wasn't any special method here. All the musculature and fur was done on only one layer, just like in the old ways of traditional painting. So the only lesson I can give about this is... patience!
Making this withous special tricks takes time. I never mastered those advanced and helpful functionalities that many artists here seem to handle so naturally (either am I dumb or lazy, I dunno).
And I'm quite jealous of that, dammit!!! ;)
