Sometimes my subconscious goes off and really complicates thing for me. Since I have started having dreams in my Equestria dreamscape, the only character of mine that has joined me there has been Petina.
Now Petina knows she is product of my subconscious and has on several occasions gone and taken advantage, abused, that knowledge. Like myself, Petina has found Equestria a very nice place to visit. Therefore the little white unicorn/ mouse decided maybe some my other characters might enjoy being a pony. But which one?
So with that thought in her pretty head, Petina went rummaging around in my brain and found Carol Harper http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5947758/ . Perfect! Next Petina decided that if she appears in my dreams because she is a product of my subconscious then she should be able get into Carol's dreams to since she also exists in my subconscious. From there she'd Carol bring back to my Equestria dreamscape. So long as Carol was asleep she to could have pony dreams! The annoying thing is that it worked.
At this point I realized that my subconscious had created an interesting question. In the Angel and Knight dreamscape there is a TV show called My Little Pony. I have not yet watched it in dreams, so I don't know how much it is like real world version. If I am having dreams in the My Little Pony world is it entirely my own version of universe, or does Lauren Faust exist in my dreamscape as an individual. If so am I and Petina sneaking into her dreams as characters that she is then dreaming of? I could imagine her waking up and wondering why she would want and go nuke the Everfree Forest http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6889618/ ?
For her part Carol thinks that being a pony is like a dream come true. She is particularly happy that she got a carousel for her cutie mark. In fact Carousel is the name she has decided to adopt there.
I am much more ambivalent about the whole concept of Petina hijacking characters of mine and turning them into ponies. For one thing I am rather enjoying meeting completely new characters like Cogs, Grist http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6591314/ and Black and Tan http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6260636/ . Also I don't want to drag any problems that exist in my other dreamscapes into Equestria. I guess I am treating it like some national park that I don't want overrun with foreign invasive species.

Well at this point I was just ready to start flight school. What I meant by jumping ahead was the reply that Celestia had dealt with Petina's little tinkering with the laws of reality. For myself this event occurred over a month and half ago, I just don't have time to post this stuff real time. Sorry.

You are not person to make such a statement. In fact due to some people being rather adamant about it when I was younger I did not discuss it with most folks. It is only recently that I have felt comfortable talking about it in a public venue.

Gah! I realized that I dropped a word from my reply which makes me sound like a complete jerk!!!! I meant to say "You are not the first person to make that statement" sorry if that was taken the wrong way. It is the one thing in writing that I have to struggle with!

fyi, Yecka, as far as I am lead to believe is Cheska correctly spelled, though I have actually found Cheska as well.

I wonder, since you seem to have reasons to be worried -what could happen if your other characters ever learned they're not real? How would they take it? Would it cause some sort of "inside Baron's head" equivalent of a world destroying catastrophe (a la time paradoxes in Back to the Future)?
Well I once years ago I did ask Petina why she didn't spill the beans about me to my other characters. Her response was that she really didn't think they would believe her. Besides it would create a real awkward situation for all concerned. "Just think of it Baron. Baron this Jackie. Jackie, Baron is god. Remember when you fell and scrapped your knee? That is his fault. Remember when you burned your breakfast? Baron's fault" She felt it would just take the fun out of the dreams.
Yes or consider this. Some of characters that appear in my dreams are avatars of people I know in the real world and that would stir things up even more. "Oh and Rosie, Tom over there. He is real person from Baron's realm but in real life he is this hairless mammal. For that matter Baron is not actually a 5' 2" tall raccoon but one of those hairless mammals". AWKWARD!!!
No Carol is what is referred to my regular dreamscapes as an equine since there are four legged animals called horses and ponies in those realities that are used as beast of burdens. In fact calling an equine a horse or pony is usually considered a serious insult and will usually get you punched in the face by one of them. However like any group there are those that think differently about the topic and Carol is one of those. She is rather into the pony-fetish thing. Much to the chagrin of other equines who wish that people like her would stop encouraging the stereotype.
Since your dreams sound at least partially lucid, have you considered trying to form some sort of nexus to define boundaries between dreamscapes, if bleed between them might be a problem?

Ahead, growing out of the distance, was a formation much like the Devils Tower, from Close-Encounters. There were perhaps 5 of them in a row, impossibly huge. Hundreds of miles across at the top, and thousands high. As we drew closer to the surface of the first of them, we saw more spires on its top surface. We headed for the third. As if made of fractals, we saw more towers on that ones top. We headed for the second of them, and then began being able to make out the details.
On the top of the spire was a small island, surrounded by blue water. Well, not even really an island, more like a sand-bank. And shallow water. There was a queue of beings standing on it and in the water, waiting to be seen to by a person sitting at a small makeshift desk.
We circled around, gauging distance, then one-by-one skidded down onto the water, trying to avoid those already queued on the small area, probably no more than 20 meters square. I think those already there were a little annoyed by our arrival.
It was a sort of passport control for people flying between parallel and alternate conceptual realities.

It's one thing to have a part of your subconscious know that it's part of your subconscious, to have it be able to mess around with other parts of your subconscious, well, that sounds like quite a doozy there. I don't see much good coming from this.

I figured your dreams would not be THAT dark. But that still leaves the question about what happens to your ponified bodies when you (and therefore she) wakes up. I'm surprised that Twilight Sparkle hasn't brought up this question herself. Y'know, for science and all.

It's not very confusing once I start formulating it, actually, but the first few times I read it I couldn't put heads and tails on it. That, I suspect, is because the clock was around 4AM when I first read it xD

Good question. Unfortunately I do not have a complete answer to it; however this much I can determine from past and present experiences/ dreams. When I am not in one of my dreamscapes it seems to fall into two states:
1. Things continue on as if it is real world where my characters continue on with their daily lives without me. When I eventually get back to those dreamscapes it does sometimes take awhile for me to figure out exactly what has transpired in my absence. Fortunately for the conscious part of my brain the subconscious has consider this and will often leave me information to examine so I can get back up to speed. This can be in the form of a note, folder, phone message or an e-mail with useful data in it. Since their is at least eleven raccoon versions of me, at least one them is now a pony full time, and one mouse version of my self I will often get a briefing from one of them as I take over and the other one goes off shift so to speak. At the moment the Angel and Knight Prime dreamscape seems to running in this mode. The Carol who is in Ponyville is from that dreamscape.
2. The dreamscape goes into effectively a form of stasis or pause mode and nothing will occur until I return there and the characters there do not perceive any time passing. Then it will resume again like the episode of the week in a TV series. If I have been away for awhile then there will often for me the equivalent of a recap episode where subconscious attempts to bring me back up to speed with has already occurred there. Andur, and A&K-1 and A&K-2 and Equestria are in this state right now. Which is why the Carol in either of those A&K variants have not come to Ponyville.

Even after a year, I still love this, as my neice would say "its so adorkable". And yes, my neice does say "adorkable" intead of "adorable".
Though I'm a little frustrated with FA at the moment, as for some reason the website had removed a lot of my faves of your Equestria Dreamscape pics on its own accord (which its done in the past as well). Hence why I'm refaving a lot of them today, even though I had previously commented on some of them.
