Christmas Day 4pm

Twas four hours past noon and all around, Sly’s house was filled with festive sounds.

Maneki and Luck, Sly Sakura and Pearl, Even Surge moved about in a whirl.

Setting up the special décor, to reflect the Holiday’s lore.

Everyone had their very own tasks, and all were working very fast.

Maneki walked through with amazing grace, bringing the turkey to its place.

Pearl crouched before the fire pit, poking the logs to keep them lit.

Luck worked on decorating the tree, Placing pretty ornaments for all to see.

She was handed a bow and smiled at her aid, “Why thank you Surge.” she happily bade.

Though she was always looking for a warning sign, the Surger was beginning to change Luck’s mind.

In their initial meeting she met his lust, now he was slowly beginning to gain her trust.

Sakura smiled as she set up the mistletoe, a blush on her face as she
thought of where each would go.

Carefully the pink vixen set up each batch, as she thought of the target she intended to catch.

Sly came walking down the hall, the phone to his ear, he taking a call.

There was still one person not here, to celebrate the Holiday cheer.

The doorbell rang and alerted the bunch, but who had rung it they all had a hunch.

Sly opened the door and in walked Penny, and she was carrying presents aplenty.

The guests all present, the house decorated all neat, that meant only one thing, it was time to eat.

They gathered at the table, everyone in their place, and with every head bowed they proceeded to say grace.

The fire danced as they ate the delicious food, all were happy and in a good mood.

Spirits were high, and the celebration had just begun. And on the agenda, nothing but fun.

The party would last till late in the eve, it would be a while before anyone leaves.

Later they’d all enjoy sweet cakes and pies, enjoying the togetherness of Christmas at Sly’s.
