I could've titled this work "Brow-Beat Cover Art #4", following in the same creative pattern as my past submissions; but since this is Christmas, I'd decided to post this as the second of two "Peace on Earth" illustrations by (the late) Lya Korda.
The Hungarian-born, 90-something member of both MENSA and Scrabble Club 276, had been drawing cover artwork for various MENSA publications, going all the way back to the 1970s (when she was a member of the New York branch).
Lya drew this fanciful and enigmatic illustration for the cover of the December, 1992 issue of "Brow-Beat" - the journal of MENSA Broward County, Florida - using red and green color separation, for added emphasis of the holiday season. And, of course, the message "Peace on Earth, good will to all..." includes every living creature... or, at least, every one she could possibly fit on said cover!
