Happy Hogswatch to all or whatever the occasion may be in your home and heart! I wish you all a season ripe with things jolly and all other things 'olly!**
Wherever your spirits may wander this holiday season, be places familiar or strange, may you find company even in the highest of boughs. May your adventures to come be carpeted in velds of verdant green, silver mountain peaks and great vermillion plumed clouds perched atop beryl crowned oaks that sing to the wind. May you wander too far to return to the start and the roads ahead be winding and strange, for the bolder the path the greater the reward. The horizon awaits you; may it be that you face it with courage and hope in your heart and seek it to it's end before seeking the horizon yet beyond.
I thank you all for the courage you give me in my life, through your words, through the kindnesses you've shown and simply to know you is to become greater than I am now.
As for this card, just a quick scribble. Not sure how this fellow found his way into this tree as he hasn't any wings. But the little bird seems content by the company all the same, if not a bit curious as to the circumstances!

It's a made up Holiday in the Discworld stories written by Terry Pratchett that is a parallel to our Christmas. In the case of one specific book, Hogfather, the character 'Death' (ie Grim reaper etc) takes up the role of the Hogfather/Santa Claus as he disappeared...which makes for a very interesting Christmas tale indeed.
how interesting, i do enjoy fantasy stories, a whole other world. thanks for the explanation :3
do you still have the necklace i gave you, is it handling? mine broke twice, i had to replace 2 teeth lol, but im very hard on it, taking it to the mountains and every where i go.

Yes of course I do and I didn't forget about the trade C: ! My to-do list is getting shorter and I plan to get to it very soon..hopefully have it to you before FC (if you are going!)
I did almost cut myself several times with it just moving it and not watching where my hand went ;P. I should keep it under my pillow for if a burglar decides to wake me up rudely...It'll be a rude surprise right back!
