in lore yes. ^__^ the older a Kitsune becomes the more tails it attains untill its 9th which results in the kitsune becoming a kyubi which are said to have been immortals.
In this case ^^ Ryono is not immortal ^__^ though he technically is old enough to have had obtained the tails ^^; ( long story ^^; )
