So my boyfriend's parents got me a handful of copic markers for xmas! So of course, what better way to test them out then by drawing a bunch of Zurakis <3

So far I’m really enjoying markers. The downside is that I was only given a small amount, so I had only about two shades of red, blue, green, red, maybe 3 browns and two blacks. That doesn’t sound bad, but these are hella hard to blend, and some colors are too strong on their own. I couldn’t even use the black because I need some shades of grey to tone it down so I don’t have black blobs everywhere.My pals that use these probably know what I’m talking about XD

But I am loving that If I seriously pursue learning markers properly, that I won’t have to drag a bunch of brushes and paints everywhere. I will never give up on my beloved watercolors, but markers are fun!

I’ll probably open commissions in the future in order to get funds to buy more shades of markers. Any advice from markering people which shades I absolutely must have?
