Spoiler Warning: This story contains spoilers for Skyward Sword and minor spoilers for Link's Awakening.
I wrote this mainly because I was disappointed with the lack of Link TF material out there (Specifically non-wolf TFs). I used Skyward Sword Link because he's one of my favorite Link character designs; I like his cute puffy pants.
This is also a couple firsts for me. This is my first published fan fiction, even though it's just a short TF story. It is also the first story I've written that has no spoken dialogue.

In game it's referred to as a raccoon, so I went with that for this story. I realize localization of games over the years has used tanuki and raccoon interchangeably, even though they are different animals, but I generally go with raccoon when I can, since I like them more.
