A good long while back I had decided to casually start getting into pokemon again and started doodling, making a trainer and figuring out what pokemon to have and such. Much of it has just been sitting unfinished on my comp for weeks, but, GUESS WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS!! *holds up a used DS with new Black and White Pokemon Games* Yup, so my pokemon art got sparked again. I decided to mix a bit of my game experience with my own imagination, though. So, to start, this is my Pokemon Trainer OC.

Everyone meet Maria.

She was born and raised in the orange islands. Her grandmother raised her after they lost contact with her father when he went on a journey and her mother later passed away. She didn't start her own pokemon journey right away, choosing to stay and help her grandmother. It wasn't until her 18th birthday that her grandmother insisted that she take her own journey after she hired a nurse to help her so Maria need not worry.
Since she was starting her journey later then others, Professor Ivy gave her a special choice in her starter pokemon.

So here she is, accepting her first pokemon, an orange island cubone that she lovingly names Scar.
