...because there's no one around. Over the weekend Mike and I split. It started twords the begining of this summer with issues with him being transgender, and even though we nearly worked out a compromise with that, in the end we figured out that we were too far different in our life goals to be together. And Mike needs time on his own to figure out his life, from what he said.

We were so close to being together in person, but with all that we learned it probably wouldn't matter anyways.

I'm left trying to figure out my own life now, since the last 2 years was planning it around Mike being there. And I guess now I'm completely available, and I will be looking soon... because I hate being alone.

I'm also finding out how hard it is, ending a gay relationship. There's only certain people you can trust to talk to because there's so many out there that would go religious on you and tell you gay relationships weren't ment to work.

I do know this though, if this wasn't real love, it wouldn't hurt this much when it's gone...
