ouch that dodge got hit hard

well, actually no it didn't, it's just that the area he hit it in, there is very little support in that area, especially on a long bed pickup, it's just a continuation of the body lines, there's nothing behind it... my dad was backing out of his sisters driveway and didn't turn quick enough, he was driving my mom's 2008 Trail Blazer, it busted up her tail light... but keep in mind the damaged area on my truck, there is nothing behind that, just air and one small brace in front of the wheel, it also has the fuel filler, I am worried about that, my truck has a diesel engine, don't want water and dirt to get into tank from that tire.
