MAoI - Honeybomb Monkey

MAoI = Miniature Art of Ileyeah (Miniature for those are all ACEOs)
Alright, seeing how there aren't many days of this year left I thought I'd go ahead and continue uploading the remaining few MAoI pieces to my galleries. :>
The original design of this, which was from around 1998, looked like a Marsupilami with dark leathery chestplates and a beak like muzzle. XD
Name: Honeycomb (Monkey)
Environment: Rainforests
Diet: omnivore
There are rather few simian creature on Ileyeah, but the Honeycomb Monkey is one of them. Male and female Honeycombs differ in the way the colour flows in their coat: females have yellow and and white fur, while males are yellow and dark gold. They are highly social and live in large family groups.

What a really unique idea for this series of minis. This one is by far my fav as he is so colourful and has so much character to his face.

Beautiful and very realistic design re. the coat pattern, i.e., able to blend in well. And those eyes are special! Fun!
