Been a while since I first sketched this one up. Probably could have doen more with the background or filled the space in between em with something but ah well. I'll put all their info here.
It was a bright sunny on the east coast of the North American continent. In a moderately sized town two brothers played in their back yard as the sun was still making it's journey higher into the sky. To look at them you wouldn't think they were brothers. They aren't even the same species. But that isn't so uncommon anymore. The boys reflect their parents. In an age where the two species fall in love and wed medical science can give these couples offspring. What species their child is depends on a number of things though. Only one parent from an interspecies couple can contribute DNA. Humans and Ranock are genetically too different to hybridize. Typically a couple will have a child the same species as the female in the relationship. That is if one of the people in said relationship is female. If one isn't or if the couple wants a child of a differing species of the mother an artificial womb comes into play. That's the case for our boys here. Their parents are both male. One Ranock and the other Human.
Zeon is Ranock and typically a little ball of curious playful energy. He loves dinosaurs and even has a few stuffed ones. He's typically the one to come up with the game of the day or lead his brother in a perhaps not to well thought out adventure to get a cookie before supper.
Shane is human and a bit more reserved than his brother. Still outgoing and playful most times if prone to blushing. Shane is probably the smarter of the two having a wider range of interest. Still he shares Zeon's love of dinosaurs and loves any game Zeon comes up with involving them.
At the moment their Dad Jival takes a picture of his boys. At 7 years hold their within the range to start potty training but just haven't quite gotten around to it yet. Both are still content to run around the back yard in their diapers. Jival has wondered how potty training will go. But his husband John keeps saying not to worry about it. "Would it really be so bad if they ended up like their dads?" He said before heading off to Pillar City. A Mega City in Africa which had grown up around the orbital tether complex.
Well hope you guys liked the pic and the lil story. I've sooo gotta do a story with my Ranock sometime. ^^
