This series actually takes place after  slingblade_47's part of the trade.

Bethany, Sharp's close friend, has been taken by ANIMA Corps. How this mess originated did not happen very long ago. The North Tiimrootroqqotti militia has set up base in the city of Crez, which is essentially a police state ruled by the vicious police force ANIMA. ANIMA was very reluctant when NT requested that they set up a temporary base on an abandoned complex in Crez while they standby and wait for repairs on their original base to be completed. Soon enough, it is evident ANIMA is extremely paranoid of the NT militia and perceives them as enemies of the state because of the susceptibility of NT trying to bring down ANIMA and Crez. Bethany's capture only leads to confusion, outrage, and even downright fear within NT. ANIMA may be trying to pick them off one by one, but they have no way of predicting when they will unleash a full-out strike against NT. NT's best bet is to fight back, rescue Bethany, and then evacuate Crez before things get even more complicated. ANIMA is not a force to underestimate.
