They might. He's got a bit of a cocky look to himself. :)

I have these guys ALL over my yard! they even know how to ambush bees at the Hummingbird feeder. Fun to watch too :D

I have tons on my back porch. They're almost like pets. They eat all the bugs that get trapped there and seem to love the shade.

Some times I have left over MealWorms from my critters, and they'll come and take the from a small dish. I've also seen them bask ontop of my turtles backs. DANGEROUS :o

Although I have to admit, finding one of those would be an interesting break from the squirrels.

I just wish the squirrels would let me get that close.

reptiles are very vool

We have skinks as well, but they're a lot more rare than these guys. No geckos though. Must be nice. :)

These guys are quite a challenge and I've been trying for quite a while to get a good shot of them.

Challenges are fun and recompensatory in most cases. Especially when you get it done very well like you did.

i used to have a couple of these as pets...sadly i was too young to take care of them properly...

yeah... he got away from me once...i found him under the beanbag chair a week later.

another time the power was out during the winter... we live in PA so he kinda went the quiet frozen way.. i feel like such a bad person...

Hm, a male, too... Well I'll say this much, your anoles have much nicer little patterns to them than the ones in the pet stores up here. We never get to see these yellows, and the powder blues are a rarity... Usually their eyelids are more of a dull grey and their underbellies colorless. (Aside from with the pinks and reds of the males' dewlaps, obviously.) And once again I can see the soul to the eye. >_> But it's less blurry. This because the photo's a more reduced size, or because of how the other one was taken with a new camera?

This photo was taken with the other camera, which had a slightly different lens setup.

I also got better focus on this one than the other shot. I'm still getting the hang of the other one.

My lizards are happy and have lots of bugs to munch on in my yard. :)
