Seriously, though. Allow me to introduce y'all to one of the unofficial "grandfathers" of the Cuedow/Weader race idea, Stallion. While there are couple of other breeds that predate his own, the Centarudows (or Kentarudows, take your pick) was one of the first to open up the possibility of these guys being more than just funny-looking earless kitties (well, they have earholes, but dassit).

I'll spare you the extra data for a later drawing. Oh and by the way?Stallion has a kid.
