This is Bayru's mule, Richard, and he looks unimpressed. As well he should because this took me an embarassingly long time to get finished...I suck at timeframes, and for that I am really sorry!

The first layers of coloring were in watercolors, hence the grayblue streaks in the lack-of-background...the water warped the paper. However, it somehow suits the theme of irritation (I imagine he's angry with me, eek!) so I didn't photoshop it out. I finished off with a layer of colored pencils. :) No inks, so it has a softer "feel" to it. I hope anyways.

The original idea was to have my mule character, Mavado, hitting on Richard and Richard looking angry/unimpressed at the tactless tobiano's unwanted advances. But then I somehow didn't feel like going that route and so now Richard just looks pissy and standoffish. :P I love how it came out even though the anatomy is a little wonky. :)
