I painted this back in October, but never ended up posting it. It's more or less a set piece from this story I've come up with for Tem. (No spoilers, sorry!) It was a bit of an experimentation with using unnatural light to make a realistic scene - with the hill having higher illumination than surrounding areas. =)

Awww thank you! And I've been busy with school or other obligations, so between that and downtime for myself, making big paintings hasn't been on my radar. x)
But, one of my new years resolutions is to post up more sketches and small things! Maybe on random occasions I'll get the inspiration to refine a sketch I made into a big painting. That's my hope anyway. I need to start more things. =P This painting here was actually only meant to be a sketch before being painted fully like this.
