A doodle I was thinking of when I first got the request for the Numia and Murai science fiction. The first season of the original Star Trek series was so full of promise, now that promise has to survive under four 4.5 decades of canon, sell-out, sell-short, and trite formula. Also, while I am sadly lacking in my original series knowledge, I am a HUGE fan of Voyager, The Next Generation, and Enterprise. However, I still think that Kirk's philosophy is the greatest of all the captain's: have fun, kick ass, and bang every chick you come across. XD

The original series was not much shakes. It suffered from many things, and at the time it was an ambitious project. Recent efforts were built on just one interpretation of that period. Still Kirk was a professional, wooded the ladies, engaged in fisticuffs and knew it was as important to survive as it was to complete the mission somehow. Numia, like Kirk, seems to always get her shirt ripped <Galaxy Quest reference>.
