I'd asked DAQ if I could use a piece of his for the icon for a story submission, as Melissa and Clarissa have been two of my favorite characters for a long time. This one is a very rare G-rated picture of them both...

Then I got a bit more into coloring it than I'd intended - once I'd done enough for the bust shots, I had to continue! As I'm colorblind, I had to use existing references to pick out shades that looked right - but considering that handicap, I don't think this turned out half bad :)

As I hadn't really done this before, I noticed throughout that there were things that could be interpreted more than one way - Melissa could have a slip and bare legs, or thigh-high stockings and a bare hip. It's only now that I realized my baring of her arms didn't really work as convincingly as I'd hoped - I suppose people might not have noticed if I hadn't just pointed that out...
