So yeah... both dragons are painted on separate boards which fit together to form the overall picture.
I couldn't get a decent photo of the lower one, so it didn't seem worth submitting separately.
Looks so much better in real life.

When I first set eyes on this, I thought it was just one dragon, and it didn't catch my interest right away. Then, I scrolled down to read the comments, and discovered the real view c:
