Yeah, I use it basically like a stain. I do the lineart and shading with a pencil, and then I paint over it with red wine. It smooths the graphite out and gives it a very pleasant pinkish sepia tone. Lots of fun! I got the idea from seeing other people using coffee and tea as a stain. :)
