some artists are just a holes. they feel that they know what's best no matter what and then there are those that think "well this idea sucks i'm gonna do something else"

i've had it done to me before.

99% of the time though this situation won't happen. and as such this is a joke comic. why does it prompt such a serious question as we all know or should know that this very very very rarely happens.

I haven't had that experience yet.

And that's why I like when a customer gives me as many details as he can.
If he doesn't and he isn't satisfied with initial sketch, I may go with the scat idea.

He'll thank me later.

Yyyep, had this happen to me. Actually, a variant (not sure if it's worse or better) - the artist took the money, then decided that the subject wouldn't pass the fap test, so there was no point in drawing it. But I should stop pestering them for a refund, they may think of a way to make it fappable someday, while still meeting the parameters of the commission. Then they'd draw it!

Never did see that money again. Also never saw their fappable interpretation of the request, either, for which I think I'm grateful.
