You know you don't need me to heap mountains of praise on you for another heart-warming story. You know full well what accolades you are about to receive as soon as your pen touches the paper.

Great to see all your characters again on the eve of a New Year. Very fitting to be around good friends...even when they are miles away.

Speaking of which, I'm glad that this was the last story I read tonight. Nicole and I, along with a couple of friends are heading over to Anchorage to welcome in New Year's.

And this story will give me lots to think about on that journey.

What a wonderful story to start the new year off reading. I love that this story starts off with a definite air of sadness and resignation, so totally apart and alone. Yet, Miss Vixyy performs her magic and transforms the mood into one of joy and belonging. Wonderfully written Vixyy!
