For awhile I was obsessed with Alice Cooper's The Last Temptation album, a project he did with Neil Gaiman that also had a comic tie in. It was a story that was a bit like a rock and roll version of Something Wicked This Way Comes. A boy named Steven (who was a little child in Welcome to My Nightmare) is tempted in various ways, but the thing that breaks him is the temptation of lust. His hands aren't touching her, but it's apparent that he really wants to.

I covered Mercy in lots of chains and metal to signify that she was something of a slave. And I made her a rabbit because they're prey animals.
