(My apologies to KT Tunstall for the title, but I couldn't resist.) ;)
Now in Technicolor! :) (Since some people wished to see it colored...this is a relatively quick digital coloring job--in Sketchbook Pro--and unshaded, but the best that I could manage in two days' time, sorry.) :P
Here's the desc copied from the lineart:
More pony art! :D Luna wanted a "live" tree, but Onyx didn't, so instead, *he* ended up being the tree, and he's not too sure now what to think of that...(But it was his turn to be, since I was the tree last time: http://swandog.deviantart.com/art/Y.....-Life-13307051 .) And "God Jul" means "Merry Christmas" in Norwegian, for those who don't know. :)
BTW, some of the "hidden" things in this pic are elements of a certain Christmas song (guess which one), and also representations of our alternate chars. Also, Luna doesn't have a "cutie mark" on her rump, but instead one between her shoulders/withers (not viewable here, but it's a pair of crescent moons), and Onyx's cutie mark isn't very visible here, but it's panpipes (since he plays them), with a compass star overlaid (since he is very good at navigating, and which I didn't add to the pic, since it wouldn't have been visible at all under all the trimming)...And FYI, I would totally have that chair, table and rug *for real*, if I had the space and time to carve/make them! (And retro phones FTW!) XD
