A new beginning for a new time,
This next year will be mine.
Shed a few pounds,
Write a lot more,
To adventure beyond my own front door.
To find a job and new skills to know,
Like learning when to just let go.
It’s a new journey so my baggage I’ll put down,
I’ll go a lot further if I learn to smile, rather than frown
To strengthening friendships with friends far and near,
