Sounds like a good project. There is a local place here which actually has an entire room devoted to those old tubes. I had a book on how to build your own hifi stereo and other things (book was from the fifties I think) and that place would have the parts.

In the meantime, I have my local electric company making me pay for money I don't believe I have to pay. And would like to make your LED light project (or hire you to make it) so I can light up my apartment so I can bring my electric bill down even further.
