I'd just like to start off by saying that I'm exceedingly pleased that I managed to produce another poem (of substantial length) by the end of this year. Of course, I find it rather ironic that I should commemorate the New Year with an autumn themed poem. And if that's not hilarious enough, I wrote this composition in the spirit of the famous poem, The Night Before Christmas. x3
But hey, I couldn't be happier with the result; after all, inspiration fueled this piece, courtesy of --> this <-- adorable autumn portrait by the one and only
Jazzycat! Girl, once again, I hope I did your visual art justice. =D
Well then, here's to the New Year, everyone! Enjoy! \(^o^)/
Until next poem! ^^

Why are you so amazing? D: Share some of that talent, D-Tail! Don't keep it all to yourself! ;D
A very beautiful poem typical of your high-quality productions, Mr. Wolfmur. You never cease to impress =D On a side note, this version of the picture makes the poem that much more fun! http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.....eRCQ2BwwZZM%3D

Gah, stop it you adorable bundle of buoyant blue joy! I'm just doing what I do and all...refining my creative trade with each post. ^^;
Hehe, but thank you nonetheless, buddy! :)
Also...that alternate BG...wow. I kinda want to say that it makes the foxtaur appear...cuter. (o.O)

Thank you, Dean. =)
I've had quite a bit of time to polish up the flow of my poetry; as a formalist, I take a great liking to line metrics, which are invaluable to creating a poem that flows in a clean manner to the average reader.
And hey, I wouldn't sweat the nature of your own work too much; after all, Edgar Allan Poe is very well read even today. =O

Bloo ALWAYS beats me in commenting time! D:<
Happy new year to you! As always D-tail you never fail to make a wonderful piece of art with your poetry. I am amazed how you can paint a beautiful picture with words. :)
When are you going to make a book I can buy? If I just print all these out I will feel like I am cheating you. XD

Hehe, well now, I suppose he does, but I don't consider showing one's appreciation a competition. ;D
I'm happy to hear (from the artist who continues to inspire my poems) that I hit the mark again though. As for continually concocting "wonderful pieces of art with my poetry" and "painting beautiful pictures with words," I owe a great deal to what I physically see in order to unify my poetic eye and ear towards composition. That said, you could say that my poems are as strong as the beauty I perceive in the art around me *cough* (like yours). ^^
Sadly, I'm not nearly as familiar with basic publication to know anything of compiling poems into a book. Oh...but how nice that would be. =X
Your enthusiasm is quite encouraging however! :3
