Yaya I was looking through my dA gallery and found this one and decided to resubmit it here since it might get more attention xP
Its wicked old, done in March 2009, and was the first time I did a "complex" colored pic, IE the bruising, sallowness, veins, etc.
Twas supposed to be a guy in the beginning stages of turning into a Licker from the Resident Evil series (RE 2 to be specific as that was its debut game and my favorite in the series).
This was of course before it occurred that lickers evolve from Crimson Heads, so you'd have to be a zombie first x.x
herp derp!
Lickers belong to Capcom

well it makes most sense, and Outbreak contributes to that theory.
In the remake, the zombies go from slow and shambling, to being able to roar, have sharp pointy teeth and claws, and run after you swiftly.
In Outbreak a "Regis Licker" is seen, a zombie much further into mutation that now has a long prehensile tongue, and able to suspend itself from the ceilings with its more prehensile feet.
Running off that, it'd make sense to say that the next logical stage would be a licker no?

I have to disagree, as REmake essentially did EVERYTHING a GOOD remake is supposed to do, it told the same story with a fresh new coat of paint and a lot more fleshed out details and improvements that also didn't derail or take a dump upon the storyline.
As well as generally being tremendously enjoyably atmospheric, its the only real Resident Evil that ACTUALLY gives me some scary umph and dread.

fair enough, yeah it is a good game, and i like the puzzles like get the whiste to get the collar to get the coin to get the key, but i think the original has a bit more fear in it. they find this mansion out of nowhere and every room is perfectly lit. the lightning flashing outside is scary once, then its just a cliché, there were some things like crimson heads and lisa trevor. but the original has the "Jill sandwich" and "master of unlocking" Barry Burton GOLD! and he's going to be in the new live action movie.
