Lujay went off to gather some water to drink in midst of the night, and ran afoul of a tree with black-widow vines. The black-widow vines are harmless really. They are a rose bud vine that hangs low from trees. Their method to spread reproductive seeds about, is to snake their way near a warm body, and "kiss" them, spreading their pollen into the creatures lungs. Its stem and inner rose petals secrete an adhesive substance to hold strong against any thrashing, which tangles the helpless victim up more. Once it has spent itself, the victim is released, nothing worse then a slight bad cough for a tid, which helps spread the seed as intended.
Needless to say, the space girl is not happy her first kiss is stolen by a plant of floralia forest, no less so it is named after more arachnids lol
