Eacles imperialis
Found this Imperial Moth at work. She was looking pretty worse for wear and wasn't in the best shape. Adult Imperial Moths do not eat.
We brought her in for observations and she laid eggs overnight, which confirmed our suspicion that she was a female.
Wingspan is 5 inches.

I hate most bugs, unless they are: A) Butterflies, moths, ladybugs, beetles, ect. or B) Spiders and centipededs and such in a zoo. Behind glass.
Anecdote: Speaking of millipedes, one summer night when I was about 7 or 8, a HUGE HUGE *HUGE* millipede just scuttled right onto our patio andI *screamed* such a loud and shrill scream I set off a few people's car alarms. ;D
